I found a bug. When starting Gothic and loading a save game, the view distance is set to low (even when in the options it's set to max value). This especially happens at night or when it's raining or foggy. After pressing 2x on Esc, the correct view distance will be applied.
Here is a video...
Yes, GothicMod.exe is the regular Gothic.exe (version 1.08k_mod) that became renamed in the PlayerKit. And it does not load Ninja. Only when I start via GothicStarter.exe, Ninja will be loaded. For some reason when I start next time via GothicMod.exe (after previously started...
This is strange. Ninja is not active when installing it into the Gothic directory that is patched with Primary exe and Union. Only when I also install the PlayerKit, Ninja will be active.
Thanks, but I'm talking about Gothic 1. And I need Ninja for the G1 Community Patch.

The problem is just that Ninja will be only active when PlayerKit is installed and...
There's a way to make Ninja compatible for installations without the PlayerKit?
Actually Ninja will get only enabled when GothicStarter.exe is installed and launched.
By the way is it recommended to launch the game via the GothicStarter.exe? What's the difference?
Hey team of Union & System Pack!
I had a discussion with MaGoth about why not patching original game files like Gothic.exe and other files. He told me he do not want that because of copyrights. But has anyone here ever asked THQ Nordic for the permission? Since THQ Nordic officially added System...
Are you aware about the bug that when NPCs running away they will stop and go?
Steam updated Gothic with System Pack 1.8
Why not Union 1.0j ???
I hope you get at least some money for it.
But in general I'm against pre-patching with user created files. Everyone should do this step manually...
The crash appeared on the final battle with the Sleeper when you have this option enabled and play Gothic without System Pack/Union.
Any news on the audio cut off bug during NPC background dialogs?
I noticed some graphical bugs. All pelts are invisible in the rotation window and a lot of swords too.
And in the Sleeper temple there are black areas when you go from the isle in the lava where you get the sword to the small path deeper into the temple. I've uploaded a save game on that...
Thank you. I will set this to 1.
And long before Union/SystemPack came out, I noticed crashes at the Sleeper battle when setting "zSubDivSurfacesEnabled=0" to 1. What does this option do and is the crash fixed?
In my GOTHIC.ini there's an option "UnionActivated=0" what does it mean?
And there's still the old bug that voices of NPCs who talking in the background will break off in middle of the spoken dialog. Can you fix this?
Thank you, killer-m, I will try it next day.
The OutdoorOcclusionCulling patch works! And FPS are okay for me.
For the Z-fighting I reduced zVobFarClipZScale to 3. That's the best compromise for a good view range and acceptable Z-fighting. Maybe a special Z-buffer could be used?
There's a list...
And when I tweak the object view distance in GOTHIC.ini changing the option "zVobFarClipZScale=1" to "zVobFarClipZScale=6" which is a must, then ugly texture flickering appears on the old camp castle.
You can see in this video:

And here flickering trees...
