World Texture Mix

This mod introduces realistic 4K textures while preserving the color palette known from the base game. Thanks to the wide variety of towns and villages, every location has gained a unique look.

Download Union Starter, paste my mod into the Mods folder and install it in the starter. You can also install the mod in exactly the same way using G3 Sefaris ModManager.

As of mod version 5.0, Parallel Universe Patch version 1.1.0 or higher is required for the 4K textures to work.

Yes, but unfortunately I haven't had the time for many months now, but fortunately I'm slowly getting more of it and will slowly start working on the mod again.

Update v4.0:

- Towns are now divided into 3 different cobble textures ( Villages of Cape Dun, and Silden), ( Small towns of Ardea, Montera and Geldern), ( Large towns and castles of Vengard, Gotha, Faring and Trelis)

- New sand texture on the beach

- New sand texture in the desert

- New forest ground texture

- New wall texture in caves

- New texture for signs at buildings of blacksmiths, alchemists etc.

- New fire texture

- Refreshed mountain texture

Камни в пещерах без освещения в руках ОЧЕНЬ ЧЁРНЫЕ.

Даже в Реддоке (первый лагерь повстанцев), когда идёшь по тоннелю, где гоблины и вараны, в глаза бросаются невероятно-чёрные камни, как миниатюрные чёрные дыры.

Это исправят?..

Я скину скриншоты сегодня вечером (+-10 часов).

P.S. Речь о камнях, то есть о чёрных небольших вытянутых пятнах. В темноте без факела они выглядят, как чёрные дыры в пространстве-времени.

That's strange, I didn't change the stones in my mod. I don't know why that is.

The screenshot below is from the USM texture pack. Unfortunately, just as I feared, it's some kind of game lighting bug, and it's the same on other mods, regardless of the texture.

Я хотел бы поддержать этот комментарий, отправленный ранее.

Так же мне не нравятся что то гиганские камни в ардее на полу, это вроде как деревушка, а не город. Но и в целом эта текстура слишком яркая слишком сильно отражает свет.

Готика 3 - World Texture Mix v4.1

Очень странно, что в очень бедной деревушке на земле лежат такие огромные камни, будто это какой-то крупный город. Особенно хочу заметить, что за пределами деревни, лежит обычная земля.

Деревни, как правило, строятся на земле и если вокруг не каменистая местность, то откуда камню взяться в деревне? Тем более, откуда взяться такому крупному камню. Это же не город, где камень могли проложить люди-каменщики с целью укрепления дорожного покрытия.

Мне кажется, здесь уместнее смотрелась бы некая утрамбованная ногами земля, плотная, разумеется, но точно не камень.

P.S. Возможно, было бы лучше, если бы эти камни были не такими огромными, тогда это можно было бы списать на то, что селяне принесли камни в мешках и высыпали на дорогу, чтобы обычный грунт не размывался под действием дождей. То есть много небольших камней смотрелось бы более уместно.

I changed the mountains because they had a glossy effect in the previous version, which shouldn't have happened. This occurred because they had a bright brown tint, causing the game to add that shine. The current ones, however, are much more realistic, and I managed to select tonal colors well enough that the gloss is gone. The downside is that their details are too visible from a distance this is because, in this version, the mountains have increased "scaling" in the material files. This makes them higher quality, sharper, and more detailed up close, but results in them being too sharp from afar.
